REGISTRATION: Registration Begins June 3, 2008 and is on going until all classes fill. New Students may try your first class free. Please fill out a 2008-2009 registration form. You pay month by month and there is no contract.
CLASSES FOR ALL LEVELS AND ALL AGES:
Our goal is to provide a fun atmosphere that promotes individual growth with positive reinforcement. We emphasize proper posture, technique, injury prevention, creative and enjoyable dance routines, recitals, limbering and stretch is a part of our Ballet and Jazz curriculum. We also many performance opportunities. We offer classes just for fun and exercise, competition, performances, training and guidance for professional dance careers. Our classes are taught by dance professionals with dance degrees and experience in the professional world of dance. We have Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary Lyrical, Jumps and Turns, Hip Hop. Jazz Pop, Broadway Musical Theatre, Tumbling, Cheer Dance and Performance Company.
HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE PERFORMANCE
During December our students put on a holiday festive dance for their parents at the studio. Dance Connection costumes are used the day of performance.
DANCE CONCERTS & PRIMARY SHOWCASE LAST WEEK OF JUNE 2009
We hope all our dancers join us next year for Dance Connection’s Dance Concerts & Primary Showcase on June 2009. Although the shows are optional, your performer will gain self-esteem, experience and be proud to be a part of these productions. For each class they are enrolled in, they perform in one number. A Production Fee covers the cost of the theater and four free tickets. Costume Fees are very reasonable.
2008-2009 BROADWAY MINI MUSICAL & PRIMARY BROADWAY
All dancers enrolled in a Broadway Classes participate in a mini Broadway Production in the Dance Concert next June. Dancers must be concurrently enrolled in a Jazz Class. Prior Year Mini Musical include “Music Man, “Annie” & “Peter Pan”.
2008-2009 DANCE CONNECTION PERFORMANCE COMPANY
Dance Connection Performance Company is our studio ensemble performance company made up of 6-17year olds and a Primary In Training Company 4-6 yrs old. The purpose of the Company is to perform for our community and 2-3competitons as approved by the Artistic Director, Miss Cherilyn. The Company participates in our annual Dance Concert/or Primary Showcase. Fun events include a Year End Banquet with each member will be honored with awards and trophies, Company Swim Barbeques, Trips such as Disneyland, Disneyworld, Cruise lines etc.
2008-2009 STAFF
We are very proud of our wonderful staff. All of Dance Connections Staff have College Degrees. In addition, all have performed professionally or are performing professionally.
